Jaclyn Carabott, PT, DPT, COMT, is a highly skilled and dedicated physical therapist known for her expertise and compassionate approach. She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Stony Brook University in 2016, following the completion of her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from Sacred Heart University in 2013. Her passion for orthopedics and the shoulder joint was ignited during her undergraduate years when she conducted a research study on muscle activation using surface EMG during a TRX push-up.

Throughout her academic journey, Jaclyn gained hands-on experience with techniques such as IASTM (Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization) and the Graston Technique, as well as performing Functional Movement Testing assessments. She went on to earn her Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT) certification, further advancing her skills in orthopedic care. Her true passion lies in treating patients with orthopedic conditions, which she continues to pursue at Panetta Physical Therapy in Bay Shore. She specializes in knee, hip, and back injuries and utilizes advanced diagnostic Musculoskeletal Ultrasound examinations to develop precise and efficient treatment plans. Additionally, Jaclyn has experience working with pediatric patients and finds particular fulfillment in treating total knee replacements.

Jaclyn is known for her warm and caring nature, and she holds high standards in patient care. Her patients greatly appreciate her compassionate approach, benefiting from her firm guidance throughout their treatment journey. Jaclyn finds great satisfaction in educating her patients and empowering them to lead healthier lifestyles.

Outside of her professional life, Jaclyn enjoys spending time at the beach, engaging in outdoor activities, and listening to country music. She and her husband are proud parents of two little boys, ages 2½ and 5 months, and she cherishes quality time with her family and friends. Looking ahead, she hopes to contribute to the growth and development of future professionals in the field of physical therapy through teaching later in her career. With her extensive experience, commitment to patient care, and passion for orthopedics, Jaclyn is a valuable asset to the Panetta Team and in the field of physical therapy.
