Dominick Danzi, PT, DPT, is a dedicated physical therapist, serving patients across Long Island with expertise in exercise science, injury rehabilitation, and personalized patient care. He earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Long Island University–Brooklyn, following his undergraduate studies at Sacred Heart University, where he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science.
Dominick’s passion for physical therapy began with his own journey through multiple sports-related injuries. In high school, he dislocated his right shoulder several times, ultimately requiring surgery to repair his labrum. The rehabilitation process not only restored his function but also opened his eyes to the life-changing impact of physical therapy. Shortly after returning to sports, he dislocated his left shoulder, leading to another surgery and a year-long recovery. This challenging period solidified his commitment to helping others recover from injuries and improve their quality of life through evidence-based rehabilitation.
These personal experiences give Dominick a unique and empathetic perspective on the recovery process. He understands firsthand the physical and emotional challenges patients face, and he uses that insight to deliver individualized care tailored to each person’s goals, lifestyle, and circumstances. Whether working with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, managing chronic pain, or improving athletic performance, he focuses on creating treatment plans that promote lasting results.
At Panetta Physical Therapy, Dominick is committed to ongoing learning and skill development, ensuring that his patients benefit from the most up-to-date physical therapy techniques and best practices.
Outside the clinic, Dominick enjoys staying active through weight training, paddle boarding, and playing sports with friends. He also loves reading, watching sports, and relaxing with video games.
His approachable nature, combined with his dedication to patient success, makes him a trusted choice for physical therapy on Long Island.
